Problem: 

One of the leading causes of death of children in Southeast Asia is motorbike accidents. Hundreds of thousands of children die needlessly every year with 71% of fatal traffic incidents occurring on motorbikes and 96% of those killed are not wearing helmets. Our goal is to change this statistic dramatically by offering free helmets to children 12 years of age and under (regardless of their family’s income).  

Solution: 

The helmets we are providing are high quality and painted bright yellow with a happy face on the back that kids will want to wear. This will help to create a lifelong habit of wearing a safety helmet while riding their scooter since this is the primary mode of transportation in developing countries worldwide with over 90 million registered scooters in Southeast Asia alone.
